Aim: To learn practical ways of recycling so that we can make our world a better place.


The Zero Waste Climate Solution 

How can we prevent climate change by recycling these products?



Plastics: 
Cycling or walking: using your car you are burning co2 and when you are walking or biking your not using co2
Paper: recycling paper means we don't do more deforestation   
Steel: if you recycle steel you don't use that much coal

How can you make your Carbon Footprint smaller? stop eating meat, unplug your devices, drive less, plant a garden  

What is a carbon footprint? the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere

  1. A glass bottle up to 1 million years to decompose
  2.  Leaves take up to 12 months to decompose
  3. Plastic bottles can take up to 450 years to decompose
  4.  Plastic bags can take up to 1000 years to decompose 
  5. Cans take up to 200-400 years to decompose
