 Summary of Hurumanu 5 

Hurumanu 5 was fun, Mr Carter was the math teacher and Mr Heath was the science teacher. I enjoyed having Mr Carter as our math teacher as he made math fun and energetic for everyone while still working and learning things. He doesn't make things boring.

Having Mr Heath as the science teacher he is really fun and chill. He makes science fun for all. We learnt a lot like magnets, eyes etc.

 ~Cooking~

In cooking today (Wednesday) we had a practical. We had to make a chicken stir fry.

I personally didn't like it too much. I think we should have cooked the vegetables a little more and we should have added more flavor to it as it didn't have that much flavor. It was a bit bland. The vegetables were very under-cooked and really crunchy. 

~Ingredients~ 

• Chicken 

• Carrots 

• Cabbage 

• Cauliflower 

• Broccoli 

• Onion 

• Sesame oil 

• Soy sauce 

~Method~

• Combine cut up chicken and sesame oil in a large ball.

• Cut up your vegetables.

• Dice you onion.

• In a hot frying pan add your onion and chicken till caramelized.

• Add your harder vegetables. 5 mins later add the rest of your vegetables. Add salt and pepper and soy sauce with seasonings of your choice.

in music, we started before lockdown a little project sort of thing you could choose out of singing, drums etc. I chose singing, my friend and I did it together. we sang 'someone you loved' we had to video it. i think we did pretty good.

in music, we had to do music research. we got to pick what sort of music we would do it about me and my group Megan and Hayley choose rap. here is the slide we did for it.

inclusiveness

So today in health we watched a video about inclusiveness. the video was about bringing people together, that you could want to avoid the confident people etc. They were bringing them together to make everyone feel included. They asked some personal things and some not so personal things they all answered honestly. They found out some things they did not know about them and it was bringing them all together. The point of this is to make sure you include people and not leave them out they could be like you. You could find a lifetime friend when you include people.

Well-being/what is being kind 

What is spiritual well-being? Spiritual well-being is something you believe in it may not be the same as anyone else but it also could be. I believe that we got put on this earth for a purpose we might not know what our purpose is on this earth yet but you just have to get out and live that purpose and not let anyone stop you that is what I believe in. 

a random act of kindness does not mean you have to give someone a gift. It can just be smiling at someone or say something nice it does not cost any money it just cost your time but I mean you have a lot of that so why don't you just use a little bit of that to be kind and make someone's day. you never know what is happening in their life. I made a random act of kindness to my brother and well I think it made his day I hope.
