cooking

 ~Cooking~


In cooking today (Wednesday) we had a practical. We had to make a chicken stir fry.

I personally didn't like it too much. I think we should have cooked the vegetables a little more and we should have added more flavor to it as it didn't have that much flavor. It was a bit bland. The vegetables were very under-cooked and really crunchy. 


~Ingredients~ 


  • Chicken 

  • Carrots 

  • Cabbage 

  • Cauliflower 

  • Broccoli 

  • Onion 

  • Sesame oil 

  • Soy sauce 



~Method~


  • Combine cut up chicken and sesame oil in a large ball.

  • Cut up your vegetables.

  • Dice you onion.

  • In a hot frying pan add your onion and chicken till caramelized.

  • Add your harder vegetables. 5 mins later add the rest of your vegetables. Add salt and pepper and soy sauce with seasonings of your choice.

  1. I agree with your comments that it could look more appealing. I think it could be more colourful, what vegetables could you put in to make it more colourful?
    This was your first dish this term so you have time to make future dishes look, smell and taste more appetizing.
